BattleState Games has announced the release of the Escape From Tarkov Steam page. You can find it by clicking here, make sure to add it to your Wishlist! There is also a FAQ that BSG has released which you can find here. I’m super happy that it finally has a real Steam page, especially with all the new players it will bring. Now with everything that Battlestate Games does there's always backlash from the Tarkov community, but this time I can’t blame them. Them being both the community and BattleState Games.
In the FAQs there are some interesting statements, some agree with and others not so much. In the photo above you will see one of the largest content creators for the Escape From Tarkov community showing one of those questionable FAQ statements. It's normal for game studios to make you have to purchase another version of the game in order to play on certain gaming applications. However it can be up to the developer to not have that happen for instance Dark and Darker. When Dark and Darker went to steam they allowed their users not to purchase another copy. Plus I'm also pretty sure you can add a non-Steam game to your Steam Library.

The other interesting thing a lot of people noticed was the minimum and recommended system requirements for Escape From Tarkov. If you don’t know, Escape From Tarkov is a CPU heavy game that even the best PCs have issues running. After seeing their minimum system requirements, good luck if you think you'll be able to run any map other than Factory. All joking aside, as someone who started EFT on a laptop I would say minimum processor 5000 series and GPU 3000 series and 32 GB RAM. Listen I’m no tech guru but I know what worked for me.
That being said, GO Wishlist Escape From Tarkov on Steam. It has ruined all other first-person shooters for me and it will for you. I have given over 4600 hours to this game and many more as a content creator, don’t get me wrong it has its issues but its still a masterpiece and the Grand-daddy of Extraction Shooters.
