Arc Raiders Is Upon Us! + Softcore Changes to EFT

Escape From Tarkov Moves to Softcore

Nikita Buyanov, Game Director for Escape From Tarkov, posted on X (Twitter) revealing the new Softcore changes coming to EFT. I’ll drop the image below so you can get the info straight from the horse’s mouth.

I’m honestly really excited for these changes — I just hope they don’t revert the recoil back to how it was in older builds. According to AirwingMarine on X, these are based on 2020 Tarkov, when the recoil was… nasty. And not in the good way.

My favorite change? Weapon cases can now spawn in raids! Sure, more cheaters will probably rush those spots — but honestly, I’m fine with that. The loot finally feels worth dying for again.
